Abrasive Waterjet Cutting employs a technology similar to pure Waterjet Cutting but introduces a fine abrasive material to enhance cutting capabilities. In this process, a high-velocity stream of water passes through a plate orifice, creating a vacuum that draws abrasive material from a separate line. When water and abrasives combine, the water accelerates the abrasive particles to high speeds, enabling the cutting of tougher materials such as metals and stone.

  • HEAT FREE ZONE

    Unlike Laser or Plasma cutting methods, Abrasive Waterjet Cutting does not use heat during cutting, eliminating the Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) and reducing material wastage.

  • CLEAN EDGES

    Abrasive Waterjet cuts result in clean and smooth edges, often eliminating the need for additional finishing or tooling on parts.
