Abrasive Waterjet Cutting employs a technology similar to pure Waterjet Cutting but introduces a fine abrasive material to enhance cutting capabilities. In this process, a high-velocity stream of water passes through a plate orifice, creating a vacuum that draws abrasive material from a separate line. When water and abrasives combine, the water accelerates the abrasive particles to high speeds, enabling the cutting of tougher materials such as metals and stone.
